Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Human Resources will act as a strategic business partner, supporting leadership and employees across the organization. This role focuses on driving a positive company culture, overseeing the entire employee lifecycle, and aligning HR strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, solutions oriented and resourceful, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Culture & Engagement
- Champion a company culture that aligns with our mission and values.
- Develop initiatives to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative workplace where employees feel valued.
Employee Life Cycle Management
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience.
- Partner with department heads to deliver impactful talent management strategies, including development plans and succession planning.
- Support employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively as they arise.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to department leaders, providing HR guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, and team dynamics.
- Recommend and implement strategies for scaling the organization sustainably.
Compensation & Benefits
- Support the design and implementation of equitable and competitive compensation structures.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of rewards with company goals.
Recruiting & Talent Management
- Lead and participate in recruiting efforts, including crafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and reference checks.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to meet future hiring needs.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations and company policies.
- Implement and manage HR policies and procedures to support organizational growth.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves to manage day-to-day HR tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including a focus on employee relations, talent management, and organizational design.
- Proactive, positive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mentality and ability to handle sensitive information and data with integrity and confidentiality.
- Proven success as an HR business partner in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to build trust and credibility at every level.
- Strong understanding of compensation principles and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex employee relations matters with empathy and discretion.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, "can-do" attitude with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities.
